My Daily Makeup

I was talking to friends (more specifically Elyse) about what our daily makeup routine is and I thought I’d share mine. I’m talking the makeup that I wear everyday, nothing crazy and just something to freshen my face up.

1. Ubran Decay Primer Potion – My eye makeup never stays put without this.

2. Urban Decay Naked Pallette – I usually swipe on a matte natural shadow on the eye, very quickly.

3. Christian Dior Crayon Eyeliner in 090 Noir (Black) or 893 Violet Precieux (Purple) on upper lashes only.

4. Christian Dior, Dior Show Mascara (Waterproof) in 090 (Black) on upper lashes only.

5. Guerlain Terracotta (Light) in 01 Blondes with a blusher brush lightly dusted around the contour parts of my face.

6. Some sort of neutral colored lipgloss or lipstick.

And on days I’m in a HUGE hurry, I usually use only the Terracotta and a quick swipe of mascara. Seriously that Terracotta makes your face look so fresh! I can’t even begin to rave about how Diorshow has made my lashes look like they’re almost false lashes… but in a good way. Obviously I use a good facial lotion before all this with SPF. I’m a freak about SPF. Oh, I also got a haircut and have bangs again! Woohoo!

Yup, so that’s it. That’s my routine. What’s your routine and what are some makeup items you can’t live without?

Tinted moisturizer + a light dusting of loose mineral powder + blush + mascara + gloss/ light lipstick =)

I live by Maybelline’s Magnum Volum Express! I always get “did you get lash extensions” comments when I use it too. Hehehe.

OOOOH! I love mineral powder! I usually do that too on special nights. Tinted moisturizer is awesome, I definitely use that in place of my facial lotion in the summers. :)

I have to try that Maybelline mascara! That would save me a whole lot of moola and get the look I want! Thanks Allison!

You have the biggest, most wonderful eyes!!!! I wish mine were that big!

I’m a girly-girl, so I’m all about makeup and wear it every day. My daily routine includes eyeliner, etc. I just love playing with makeup, can’t help it! I want that Naked palette and the Naked 2 palette!

Awwww they aren’t that big, anyone’s is that close to the camera. :)

I wish I knew more about makeup!!!! I think because I don’t have a crease in my eyelid that it makes it hard. I put colors on and it looks like I’m playing “dress up” lol. I need to learn! The naked palette is so awesome!!! I want the 2nd one too. :) XO

I usually only put moisturiser on.

I’m really really bad at doing make-up, so I rarely bother.

Occasionally I’ll wear eyeliner – mostly on bottom lid though, never been able to figure out the top lid.

I did take to wearing lip gloss for a while after my wedding, but then I can’t kiss hubby :(

hehehe I know what you mean about wearing lipgloss :)

Eyeliner took me a while too, I think because my eyelids are monolid (without a crease) it’s easier to put on. And you do the most important thing of all, moisturizer! :D
