Jet Lag!
Omg I am in America! English everywhere!
I slept maybe a total of an hour last night. Totally tired but not exhausted.
The flight was surprisingly fast, though the food was a mediocre. We had the window and middle seat. The girl sitting in the aisle seat refused to get up so we had to climb over here whenever we needed the bathroom.
The hubs had a connecting flight to Paris and I had a night with the family. I fly out in a few hours to visit my BFF and her family. It’s been too long, I miss her so much. And it’ll be for a week do I’m super excited!
Now that I’m in America. I’ll be buying some things Shanghai doesn’t have. I’ll be buying Aveeno stuff, especially the positively ageless SPF. I think I’ll be buying some drugstore makeup that I miss. Clarisonic replacement brushes and I feel like there are other things but I am drawing a blank. Alina asked me to get some Sally Hansen nail polish strips, since they are a bit hard to come by in China.
Oh and NARS. It’s so hard to get NARS (or any European) brands cuz its so expensive.
What are some fun and inexpensive things I should buy as gifts here? We want to give our Shanghai friends some American things but can’t spend a lot of cash, since there are so many people to buy for. Any suggestions?
Welcome back! Hope you enjoy your time with f&f…. As for gift ideas, how about macaroons (i think they can survive the long flight).
Have fun while you’re in the states! I don’t have any ideas about gift ideas, I just remember my dad’s best friend coming to the states from Trinidad and Tobago for our wedding and buying gifts for all of their family members that weren’t available on the islands.
Thank you! That’s what we want to do too, something Shanghai doesn’t have.
I have to say, it’s nice to be home!
Welcome back!!!
