Health Update
I had surgery two months ago to remove a few polyps on my uterine lining. Supposedly, that is what has prevented us from being able to get pregnant. The recovery was quick, the surgery went well and I went in today to do a full check up in combination with my ovulation time.
I had to do an internal ultrasound, which is not that fun, to see if my lining looks good and if there are signs of ovulation. But before my wonderful Doctor could tell me, I interrupted her by saying: “Oh Dr. K, I miss you!”. HA. Yes, I am the queen of either being in an awkward situation or making one.
Dr. K is so sweet and she said that her and all the nurses miss me. They all really took a liking to me because I remember everyone’s names and talk to every single nurse. I can’t help it, they’re all so awesome. Plus they are taking care of me so naturally I am thankful.
I have so much great news. My uterine lining finally looks normal, no polyps and has healed well. It looks like an egg passed through and I have ovulated. Dr. K gave me a HUGE hug and told me it looks like we should be able to conceive naturally!!
I’m beyond the moon thrilled and happy. It’s been so long since I’ve actually heard good news relating to my body. Thank you all for always wishing us well, for the prayers, thoughts, love… emails, texts, IMs and wonderful things in the mail. I am such a lucky gal.
And… now that I think about it:
It’s TOTALLY weird to say you miss someone (in my case my doctor) while you are having an internal ultrasound. hahaha

I hope there will be a baby in the near future, I feel so happy that I’m healthy again. You are so sweet, I definitely missed blogging and although my life is one awkward moment… it’s fun to share.
