22 Weeks, 2 Days Milestone

I woke up this morning around 3am to go to the bathroom… ah, the joys of pregnancy. ;-)

When I came back to bed to sleep, I noticed Boram moving around. Not unusual, I’ve been feeling him move for a while now. But this time I felt like it was a very strong movement instead of small ones. So I put my hand on my belly, ready to fall asleep and suddenly…..

I FELT HIM KICKING.

OUTSIDE KICKING.

My hands could feel him, I opened my eyes right away… thinking I imagined it! I must have stayed awake for an hour, just enjoying his kicks. This proof that he is indeed in there, reminding me… “Hey umma!!!! HI!! I’m your son!”

I really wanted to wake the hubs up but I couldn’t do that to him. I fell back asleep and as soon as our alarm went off, I told him to put his hands on my belly.

“I don’t feel anything…”

“nono, Just wait!!! Hmm.. did I imagine it?”

“OH! I FEEL HIM!”

Haha, I didn’t imagine it! The hubs felt him too! Oh, we are so happy and so excited to meet our son in May. As I’m typing this now, I feel him moving around. I can’t wipe this smile away from my face.

I just LOVE pregnancy. LOVE IT.
