We had our 28 week appointment today with our Doctor. Everything was great, they weighed me and I gained a total of 9.5 lbs since the beginning of pregnancy. Woot! Gaining more and more now, which is making my belly very round. Loving it!

Boram is measuring right on average, not too big – - – not too small. Last time we went in for a check up, his head was on the bigger side of average. Today’s measurements show him back at average again. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does end up having a crazy big head, I do… When I had my graduations (high school, undergrad, masters, doctorate) I measured the second to largest cap size. The person that measured me told me if my head was any bigger, I would have to graduate with just a gown. LOL

My amniotic fluid is measuring nicely, he looks comfortable inside and it did take a bit of time for him to turn around. My baby is so shy! But he does kick all day long, which I absolutely love (even when I can’t sleep) because it gives me comfort that he’s alive and well.

Dr Kong gave me a prenatal kick count card. I’m supposed to count how long it takes for 10 kicks and mark it down every day. The chart starts from 28 weeks to the 39th week. I measured today and I had 10 kicks in under 20 minutes. Boram is a super active baby, I wonder if that means he will be outside the womb too.

She also told me that now that Boram is a baby, not a fetus, I need to see her every two weeks. Just to make sure he is ok, everything is healthy and if not I’ll have to be induced. But she said that I should be ok, things are looking good and she wants to keep him in my belly as long as he wants to.  

I thought I get video with my ultrasounds but I didn’t realize it actually costs extra! (300 RMB! YIKES) But the hubs got it on his phone, you can see Boram’s face. I just love his little nose and his cheeks. I can’t wait to meet my son in May, I can’t wait to play piano for him outside the womb and tell him I love him.
