It’s not even half way through the first month of the year and I’ve already broken my resolution of eating healthy. I figured I should blog about the times I eat healthy as well as eating poorly. I have been really bad about snacking during the day with chocolates that my lovely friend Elyse brought for me when she visited! I have a weakness for chocolates and kettle corn, which she also brought for me.
I decided today that I will eat healthier since I get migraines that are triggered by certain foods and especially processed, packaged foods. Sigh, sometimes I think it’s a blessing and a curse that food is a trigger but honestly sometimes I’m in a hurry and it’s frustrating.
I ate organic yogurt with frozen fruits that I bought that are also organic (strawberries I bought fresh and froze) then added a spoon full of nut butter. I feel full without feeling the crash of sugar and this will be great till dinner time.
